Dr. Robert ‘Battle Ax’ Ornelas of The S.O.G Crew was adopted by the Little Light Crooked Arm family into the Crow Nation late 2010. Ornelas considered it a tremendous honor and has visited the nation on every tour since. Monday April 15th 2013 The Little Light Crooked Arm family hosts Restore 2013 Healing Youth and Revival Concert in Crow Agency Montana with Anaheim, California’s hip hop artists, The S.O.G. Crew and First Nations Cree Artist from Saskatchewan, Canada Jim Felix. The dynamic duo works well together with a major influence to the native youth and elders of Crow Agency. Despite the cold snowy weather the community multipurpose center was a full house. The combination of rock and roll and hip-hop intertwined into one big concert was just what the doctor ordered. Friday April 12th 2013 – Front man Dr. Robert ‘Battle Ax’ Ornelas of The S.O.G Crew has been invited to reservations all throughout the country for over 10 years. Ornelas is currently a candidate for Lt. Governor for California and holds the position as an Ambassador for the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington DC to Native American nations. Last year Ornelas met with the Klamath Falls tribe and after one visit fell in love with the people. Befriending Klamath Falls tribal Vice-Chair Don Gentry. Don’s family does work throughout the community and are responsible for bringing the S.O.G Crew to Klamath Falls. S.O.G visits the tribe again while on their Let’s Change the World Tour.
